With A Week Left, Here Are Some Adventures To Check Off Your November Bucket List!

Welcome back to The Chatty Coconut my travel girl gang! 

As the last of the autumnal leaves fall and November comes to a close, I want to make sure that you felt like you squeezed every last drop of adventure out of this month.

Speaking for myself, the time between October-December can be an absolute whirlwind and sometimes a total mind-f*ck. When did the fall football games happen? The Halloween parties? The Friendsgivings? You blink and suddenly you're about to scream HAPPY NEW YEAR and down your 12th flute of champagne.

But excuse my spiral, lemme get back to the point. With a week left of November, I have carefully curated three different adventures for you to check-off of your November bucket list!!!

Whether it's with a friend, with a love interest, with family, or even solo, here's a little something for my tropical girls, my spontaneous girls, and my thoughtful girls.

For my tropical girlies: A slow-living, soul-warming, fall beach walk & seashell collecting day!

Admittedly, something I've been working on lately is finding magic in the slow and peaceful moments. The one's where you slip away, let your mind wander to more serene places, and don't think about how many texts or emails you need to respond to. Funny enough, as the blog curator for The Chatty Coconut, I seriously want to work on maintaining my coastal energy and practicing the Free Coconut lifestyle.

So throw on that bangin' bathing suit that hugs your body in all the right places, that go-to cover up just in case there's a slight chill in the air (as a Floridian I'm jealous), and enjoy the beach for everything it has to offer. 

Collect as many seashells as you can carry, sip on a fruity little drink, and watch that sun go down over the horizon. It's not as cheesy as it sounds, I promise.

For my spontaneous girlies: an exhilaratingly mysterious weekend road trip to somewhere unexpected!

Is there anything sexier than spontaneity?

No, the answer is no. It's the sexiest thing of all time.

So consider this your sign to jump in your car and make this weekend the one you'll tell stories about forever. A quick road trip-- just an hour or two outside of your day-to-day. routine-- is like medicine, trust me.

Stop at every single roadside stand, point at every billboard, and play car games till the cows come home (literally, being that you'll most likely scream "COWS" when you see them out the window).

This is what Free Coconut is all about! Embracing freedom, curiosity, and the minimalist mindset. Take what you can, leave what you can't. Make every detour its own chapter of a much larger story.

Even if the destination is just a few exits away, let each stop remind you how good it feels to live young, wild, and wonderfully free.

For my thoughtful girlies: a cozy, comfortable, reset night with your friends full of intention and playfulness!

When everything starts to feel too chaotic, hosting a warm and cozy reset night is the ultimate way to slow down and reconnect. Think warm lighting, a bounty of snacks, a Nicholas Sparks movie, and maybe a little bit of cheap wine for my 21 and up friends. 

Slow living, conscious adventures, and celebrating life's little moments with the people who make it all feel warm, makes this life more than worth it.

The concept of "filling your bucket" is one that I learned about in Kindergarten, so excuse me if it sounds a little childish. However, it seriously remains one of the BEST life lessons I've ever learned, and one that I still carry with me to this day.

In this day and age, everybody is in a rush to get to the next thing; the next project at work, the next homework assignment at school, the next party, the next relationship etc.

We spend so much time trying to fill the buckets of everyone and everything around us, that very rarely do we actually stop to fill our own.

Ask yourself this: When is the last time you did something, big or small, to make yourself feel genuinely fulfilled and happy?

If your answer was today, then you are doing this whole life thing EXACTLY right.

And if it wasn't? Use this blog as a friendly reminder from me to you, to FILL YOUR FREAKING BUCKET BABE!!!
