Hello my Travel Girl Gang!

There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when the Free Coconut lifestyle collides with fall in New York City. The same women who pack bikinis and linen co-ords for island getaways also know how to trade sand for skyline — without ever losing that sun-soaked style or coastal energy we love so much.

For founder Stephanie, New York isn’t just another destination — it’s home. So when she packed her bags for a fall content trip with her two daughters, Alexis (Free Coconut’s co-owner) and Mariya (our resident fashionista), it wasn’t just about sightseeing. It was about storytelling. The kind of storytelling that happens when real women bring their tropical spirit into the concrete jungle and remind us that wanderlust isn’t limited by location.

Because here at The Free Coconut brand, we love palm trees, yes — but we also love travel in all its forms. From lazy beach mornings to chilly city strolls, vacation isn’t a place; it’s a mindset. This fall, Stephanie and her girls showed us exactly how to live it.

✨ Times Square — Alexis in the “A Wanderlust Life” Crewneck

Nothing says New York moment quite like standing in the heart of Times Square, coffee in hand, lights bouncing off your oversized crewneck. That’s exactly where Alexis, co-owner of Free Coconut, was spotted rocking our “A Wanderlust Life” Oversized Crewneck in cream with chocolate brown lettering.

This sweatshirt — part of our upcoming Free Coconut essentials collection — was made for movement. It’s cozy enough for early flights, chic enough for dinner in SoHo, and totally photogenic against a backdrop of flashing billboards.

The look is peak vacation outfit inspiration: comfy, neutral, and effortlessly cool. Whether you’re boarding a plane to the tropics or just catching the subway downtown, it’s the ultimate travel-ready sweatshirt that says, “Yes, I’m exploring the city — but I could be sipping coconuts by tomorrow.”

Because that’s the thing about Free Coconut’s vacation store energy — it follows you wherever you go. 🌆☕

🎶 Brooklyn — The Soul of Bob Marley Boulevard

Next stop: Brooklyn. Stephanie and her daughters made their way down Bob Marley Boulevard, a place that holds special meaning for their family and for the Free Coconut brand itself.

Stephanie’s love for Bob Marley’s music and the peace-driven values of Rastafarian culture have always been at the heart of her creative vision. Free Coconut isn’t just island-inspired fashion — it’s a reflection of that deeper rhythm: freedom, kindness, authenticity, and connection.

Standing at the corner of Church Ave and Bob Marley Blvd felt symbolic — a reminder that our coastal lifestyle isn’t just about the beach. It’s about carrying that warm, grounded, good-vibes energy wherever you go. Because being part of the Free Coconut lifestyle isn’t just about what you wear; it’s about how you move through the world.

And in that Brooklyn breeze, you could almost hear it — a mix of reggae, laughter, and wanderlust. 🎵🌴

☕ LM Café, Long Island City — Caffeine, Croissants & Coconut Energy

Of course, no Free Coconut trip is complete without a cozy café moment. Enter LM Café in Long Island City, where cappuccinos meet croissants and creativity flows as freely as espresso.

The photos from this stop practically smell like fresh pastries and weekend mornings. A golden croissant in hand, a steaming cappuccino by the window — it’s the perfect blend of slow living travel tips and urban adventure.

This is where the Free Coconut team thrives: in the in-between moments. Between the hustle of the city and the calm of connection. Between the tropical and the metropolitan. Between caffeine highs and creative breakthroughs.

Because even in New York, the Free Coconut lifestyle stays the same — intentional, adventurous, and stylishly unbothered. ☕🥐

When you’re staying at the LIC Manhattan View Hotel, every glance out the window is a postcard. Stephanie and her daughters stayed in the Penthouse Suite — a sky-high sanctuary overlooking the sparkling skyline.

Up there, the chaos of the city melted into a breathtaking view that felt almost tropical in its serenity. Mariya captured it perfectly on the rooftop — bundled up, confident, and glowing against the Manhattan backdrop.

It was a reminder that vacation doesn’t have to mean palm trees and plane tickets. Sometimes, it’s just changing your scenery and seeing the world (and yourself) from a new angle.

Free Coconut believes in celebrating all forms of travel — from tropical getaways to city escapes. Because adventure lives in every moment you choose to slow down and savor it. 🌆💫

🍰 Alexis at Junior’s Cheesecake — Sweet Nostalgia

There are New York classics, and then there’s Junior’s Cheesecake. If you know, you know. With over 40 flavors of cheesecake, matzah ball soup that tastes like home, and deli sandwiches that could feed a small village — it’s iconic for a reason.

Alexis brought that Free Coconut confidence into this NYC institution, turning lunch into a photoshoot (as one does). Wearing her A Wanderlust Life crewneck again, she gave the classic diner setting a modern twist — proof that coastal casual fashion fits just as perfectly in a booth as it does on the beach.

Free Coconut has always been about versatility — warm weather vacation clothing that transitions seamlessly to cooler climates and cozier vibes. Whether you’re soaking in salt air or city lights, your style should move with you — just like life does. 🍰✨

The final shot from the trip says it all — Stephanie's hand holding our Free Coconut Launch Poster, with the Manhattan skyline glimmering in the background.

It’s more than a photo. It’s a promise.

After months of creativity, travel, and teamwork, Free Coconut’s first official drop is coming your way on November 28, 2025 — perfectly timed for Black Friday and the holiday season. This collection is made for dreamers, travelers, and women who find joy wherever they land.

Because at its heart, Free Coconut isn’t about one place — it’s about every place that makes you feel alive. Whether that’s a rooftop in Long Island City or a hammock in Key West, our pieces are designed to move with you, tell your story, and remind you that you belong everywhere.

Stephanie and her daughters showed us something special with their NYC getaway: the Free Coconut lifestyle isn’t confined to beaches or palm trees. It’s a mindset. It’s confidence. It’s real women embracing every version of themselves — island girls, city girls, and everything in between.

Sometimes, wanderlust looks like a boarding pass to paradise. Other times, it’s a quick escape to the city that never sleeps. Either way, it’s about finding beauty in the journey, comfort in your clothes, and confidence in your skin.

So here’s to the dreamers, the travelers, and the women who know that vacation isn’t just a trip — it’s a way of life. 🌴🗽

As always ladies, Happy Traveling!

Ava
