Kim Galvez, or "Miss Kim" to the Free Coconut team, is our fierce, dynamic, and all around girl boss Customer Service & Social Media Manager! Born and raised in Belize, she is the blueprint for the Free Coconut lifestyle: living young, wild, and free.
In addition to supporting our Free Coconut community, she is an extremely successful hairstylist and business owner. Her company, Posh Hair Studio, is a textured hair empire with a brick and mortar store in Belize, as well as a fully functioning website. At Posh Hair Studio, women of color can have their hair styled, braided, and find just about any textured-hair related product they'll need. But not to worry, if you can't enjoy her talents out there in Belize, she also offers afro-centric hair styling here in the States. In fact, she travels back and forth between the two countries frequently with her husband and son right by her side!
Back in 2023, Miss Kim came into our owner Stephanie's other boutique The Pink Closet Company! She is heavily into fashion and the color pink, so really it was a match made in heaven. Instantly her and Stephanie clicked, and she has become a pivotal member of the team ever since!
Fun Facts About Kim!
- Miss Kim is 36, but seriously doesn't look a day over 25😍
- She is an amazing cook and specializes in all of the island flavors and spices🌴🍴
- Her style is something to covet and bright colors are her thing👗👙 👠
- She loves to travel! If you can't find her on the ground in Belize or Florida, she is most definitely on an airplane✈🌊 🐚
